    Detailing.

Once a project is secured, the detailing process begins. The detailers role is to take the design drawings and create individual component drawings that can be interpreted by the workshop staff. N.M.W. Ltd. has detailers using professional steel detailing software and we have strong relations with professional detail companies who are more than capable of coping with the workload.

    Fabrication.

Fabrication is a process used to manufacture steel work components that will, when assembled and joned, form a complete structure. In N.M.W. Ltd. we only use new material from local metal suppliers.Working from detailed drawings, components are cut, drilled, welded, cleaned and primed. Assembled steel sections can be easily transported to the job site where they will be installed by professional and certified steel erectors. Each component is unique and is marked for easy identification.

      Surface protection.

While N.M.W. Ltd. has a small painting facility where the majority of surface protection and painting is done, we also deal with specialist industrial painting companies. When your unique design and specifications require special protection or more than just primer, these companies have the capacity, experience and quality to sandblast, powder coat, zinc coat or anything else specified by you, to be applied to our fabricated product.

    Steel erection.

Components are transported to the job site for erection by freigt companies or by our site team. The majority of steel erections and installation is done by V.D.S. Steel Ltd. Their staff practice safe and professional working habits and will never skimp on resources or equipment to take short-cuts.
